Due to lack of a quorum there were no motions made and no actions taken. An informational session only was held with Vice Chairman Salvatore presiding.

Tarifville School - Mr. Chow reported that the BSF has completed their review. He has received a letter which enables the Project to proceed and Mr. Holden, Mr. Sawitzke and Mr. Chow are preparing the advertisement and printing of the Plans and Specifications. They anticipate going out to bid next week and having the bid opening four weeks later with results and analyses to be presented at the April PBC meeting. There was Q and A. Mr. Sawitzke stated that the Plans prepared by Mr. Chow are quite detailed. Mr. Russo stated that he has looked at the plans. Mr. Ostop raised the question re the potential of a hybrid contract for the Project. Mr. Sawitzke raised the question of the scheduling of inspections.
Simsbury High School - Mr. Holden reported that Mr. Sawitzke has received the settlement check from Fletcher Thompson re errors and omissions and insurance.
Simsbury Public Library - Mr. Russo reported that he met with the General Contractor and he committed to meeting the completion date of the end of February. The carpet is in the State and the tile is in stock. The Fire Marshal plans to inspect the Project tomorrow at 10 a.m. The Project work is proceeding and Mr. Russo expects to get a temporary CO by the end of February. Meetings have been held with the moving firm and with the major vendor re commencing the process of moving back to the library on March 3, 2008. There is a five week moving schedule with the anticipated opening of the library Monday, April 2, 2008. Mr. Russo reported a $46,500 refund on the carpeting.
There was general discussion re potential procedures for management of the requisitions submitted for this meeting.
