Zoning Regulation
The Simsbury Planned Area Development (PAD) subcommittee will hold a public meeting to receive public comment regarding a progress draft of a PAD zoning regulation on Thursday July 16, 2009 at 7 pm in the Program Room at the Simsbury Public Library.
The subcommittee is interested in hearing specific comments regarding the progress draft PAD regulation that it has been working on for some time. The subcommittee and Town staff will be present to answer questions from the public at this meeting.
The progress draft PAD regulation is currently posted on the Town of Simsbury web site ( www.simsbury-ct.gov) under What’s New. It is also posted under the Planning and Land Use Department page as well.
Once the subcommittee obtains public comment on this regulation it will consider any revisions before sending the draft PAD to the Zoning Commission. The Zoning Commission will then consider whether to hold a required public hearing on the PAD regulation prior to its adoption.
