Flamig Farm accepts leaves and other yard waste (wood chips, brush, chunks of wood, and log lengths) - for processing into firewood, lumber, mulch and compost.
Fees:
wood chips & leaves - $2.50/c.y.
brush, wood chunks & log lengths - $10/c.y. (The farm will accept really nice hardwood log lengths - "saw logs" at no charge.)
Directions:
from Rte. 44: North on Rte. 167 (Bushy Hill Road). Left at first stoplight (W. Mountain Road). Four miles on the left.
from Rte. 10: West on Rte. 309 (West Street, which becomes Farms Village Road). Shortly after you see a firehouse on the left, turn left onto W. Mountain Road. Continue left at the first stop sign. Your next right is Shingle Mill Road. Turn right; the farm is on the left. |
