The Town of Simsbury’s Board of Selectmen has adopted a Water Shortage Ordinance to protect, preserve and maintain the public health, safety and welfare whenever there is a threatened or critical water shortage in town.  This Ordinance provides the ability for the town to impose various water use restrictions, and the authority to enforce those restrictions.

A copy of the Ordinance is available for public inspection at the Town Clerk’s Office and the Town Clerk shall, upon request, mail a copy of the Ordinance to any person requesting a copy at no charge.  The Ordinance is also available for review on the Town of Simsbury website, www.simsbury-ct.gov on the Board of Selectmen page.
