Historic District Commission

The Commission is responsible for preserving the historic homes, sites, and character of the Town in the East Weatogue Street Historic District area.

The Historic District Commission meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M. Meetings are held in the Simsbury Town Offices Main Meeting Room, unless otherwise noted on the Agenda.

Please note: in order to meet public notice requirements, applications for Certificates of Appropriateness must be received in the Planning & Land Use Department at least 3 weeks prior to the scheduled regular meeting date in order for the Commission to hold a public hearing on that date.
