Simsbury Senior Center Activities Scaled Back – Stay Home, Stay Safe

COVID-19 cases continue to increase in the state of Connecticut and towns within the Farmington Valley.  We have been advised by the Farmington Valley Health District that our most vulnerable populations should stay home and stay safe.  In addition, the Health District has advised that senior centers should scale back all in person activities.

Dial-A-Ride service is now being offered only for critical needs, such as non-sick medical appointments, picking up medication, grocery shopping, and bank services.

Previously scheduled foot care, blood pressure/blood sugar clinics, and hearing clinics have been canceled.

Residents are urged to stay home and stay safe, wear masks at all times if they must be out in public, social distance and hand wash, and reduce family gatherings and travel including for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time, and stay safe.
