Tax Reminder

The last day to pay taxes without a penalty is February 1, 2018. (Postmarks of February 1, 2018 will be accepted.)

Taxes due at this time are for the second installment on Real Estate and Personal Property.  Those bills were mailed out last June.  Copies of all tax bills are online at www.simsbury-ct.gov/tax

Supplemental motor vehicle taxes were mailed out December 8, 2017 and are due January 1, 2018 and the last day without a penalty is
February 1, 2018.

Supplemental motor vehicle bills are for cars that were newly registered after October 1, 2016 but before August 2, 2017.  By state law, failure to receive a tax bill does not exempt you from paying taxes.

If paying by mail, send the tax department portion of the bill, with a check payable to:

The PO Box in Woburn is Simsbury Banks processing center for the Town.

Tax payments can also be made in person at the Tax Office.  Bring the entire bill with you.

Payments can be made on-line at www.simsbury-ct.gov/tax    It’s free with an electronic check.

To pay with debit/credit cards there is a 2.95% fee on the total payment. 

Office hours are Mondays 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday through Thursday  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday’s 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
