Town of Simsbury Concludes “Close-Vote” Recanvass – No Change in Election Results

On November 14^th, 2017 the Town of Simsbury conducted a “close-vote” recanvass ballot count of the votes cast at the November 7^th, 2017 Town of Simsbury Municipal Election.  The recanvass was statutorily required for four races, including races for the offices of First Selectman, Board of Assessment Appeals, Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. The recanvass resulted in the same outcome as the November 7^th election.
