Top Dog Contest Winners 2017

The Top Dog Contest is an event to promote dog licensing and rabies vaccination compliance.  Each year, Animal Control Officer Mark Rudewicz completes a survey of over 1,400 residents.  He visits each residence randomly to check for compliance or any animal service needs.  Dog licensing fees are remitted to the State of Connecticut, but completion of the survey allows the Town to keep 60% to provide services.

Each winner received a 2017-2018 dog license, a goodie bag and the prestige of their respective award.  The licenses and goodie bags were presented by Town Clerk Ericka Butler, Assistant Town Clerks Anita Schwager and Janet Brady, Simsbury Police Captain Nick Boulter, Secretary Tina Labrecque and Officer Justin Johnson.
