On Sunday, September 25, 2022, motorists should expect heavy traffic in and around the Simsbury Airport (Wolcott Road and surrounding areas) from 8:00am-5:00pm due to the Simsbury Fly-In, Car Show, and Food Truck Festival. There will be no road closures, but anyone traveling through the area and not attending the event should seek an alternate route.
For those attending the event, there will be parking at 73 Wolcott Road and on the airport property, on the east side of the runway. Accessible parking will be at 89 Wolcott Road. There is no on street parking. Signage will be set up along the roadway to direct spectators, vendors and show cars to the proper parking locations.
