Simsbury Pedestrian & Bicycle Master Plan
The Department of Public Works, with the cooperation of other Town Departments and hundreds of members of the Simsbury community, completed the Simsbury Pedestrian Bicycle Master Plan in December 2018. Goals of the plan include: improving pedestrian and bicyclist safety for all community members; improving connections to and between key destinations within the town and the overall region; educating all users on how to safely share the road; and to identify and maintain necessary infrastructure and resources to provide comfortable, attractive, and safe amenities for pedestrian and bicycle use.
