Registering to vote is easy.

To register to vote online, visit the State of Connecticut's Online Voter Registration System by clicking here.

You must have a valid driver’s license, learner’s permit or non-driver photo identification card issued by the CT Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and a signature on file with DMV to use the online system.

Mail-in applications are available at the Registrars’ office. Call (860) 658-3267 or (860) 658-3269 and one will be sent to you.

You may also register to vote in person at the Town Hall, 933 Hopmeadow Street on Mondays from 8:30am to 7:00pm, or Tuesday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, either at the office of the Registrars or at the Town Clerk's office. When your application has been approved, you will receive a Letter of Acceptance, which will indicate your polling place.

To register to vote in Connecticut, you MUST be a United States citizen; be a resident of a Connecticut town; be at least 17 years old (must turn 18 before election day); and have completed confinement and parole if previously convicted of a felony.
