How do I get a fishing license or a hunting license?

Come into the Town Clerk’s Office in person or have someone else come in on your behalf.  Purchase licenses and permits on line.

To obtain a hunting license:  your resident hunting license, not more than 5 years old, or your Connecticut state-issued hunter safety card is required.

If you are under 16 years of age, you do not need a fishing license.

If you are 65 years old or older and a resident of Connecticut, you are entitled to a license at no charge.  Bring your driver’s license as proof of age.
