ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS – REGULAR MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Simsbury took the following action(s) at its regular meeting held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Meeting Room of the Simsbury Town Offices, 933 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, Connecticut, Via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/2574297243Phone: 1 646-558-8656, Meeting ID: Meeting ID: 257 429 7243

1. Approved with conditions, Application #20-03 of Todd and Megan Myers, Owner/Applicants, for a variance to Article 8, Section A, of the Simsbury Zoning Regulations to allow the installation of a pool at the property located at 425 Bushy Hill Road (Assessor’s Map B18, Block 501, Lot 005). Zone R-25
2. Approved with conditions, Application #20-04 of Evan & Theresa Milone, Owner/Applicants, for a variance to Article 8, Section A, of the Simsbury Zoning Regulations to construct and addition at the property located at 10 Griffin Street (Assessor’s Map G08, Block 126, Lot 011). Zone R-15
3. Approved with conditions, Application #20-05 of Richard Candelario, for a variance to Article 8, Section A, of the Simsbury Zoning Regulations to allow the installation of a pool at the property located at 46 West Street Road (Assessor’s Map G10, Block 104, Lot 001). Zone R-15
4. Approved with conditions, Application #20-06 of The McDonalds Real Estate Company c/o Russo & Rizzio, LLC Owner/Applicants, for a variance of the Simsbury Zoning Regulations to Article 10, Section C.2 f; C.7d; to replace two existing menu boards and install two pre-order menu boards which allow light to project through the face of the sign; which change its screen on limited daily basis and Article 10 Section C3a to permit two freestanding signs in for of preorder boards at the property located at 22 Albany Turnpike (Assessor’s Map A20, Block 503, Lot 002-B).
