CALL TO ORDER – meeting called to order at 5:45pm by Cheryl Cook

 

PUBLIC AUDIENCE - none

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

-Discussion of May Programing: Domestic Violence.  Members Karen Gallagher and Becky Rosenthal reported planning for the May program on domestic violence was moving forward with the CT Coalition on Domestic Violence and Simsbury Police Officer Lauren Devon was assisting. Parameters of the program were discussed including presenting written questions to the panelists rather than in person questions.

 

-Community for Care sub-committee SPIRIT Council members Angelica Soto and Tenesha Grant discussed the organizing efforts of the Council and the activities the group is undertaking.

 

- Lisa Gray provided information about a Promise to Jordan events and efforts to establish a Recovery Friendly Community.
