Zoning Commission

The Zoning Commission is an elected body responsible for the creation of Zoning Regulations and the accompanying map utilized for the administration of said regulations. The Zoning Regulations, which are designed to promote the health, safety and welfare of the community, divide the Town into districts and establish standards for land use within each district. The Commission regularly reviews the Zoning Regulations to clarify, revise, and update its provisions to ensure compatible land use patterns.

The Zoning Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 7:00pm. Meetings are held in the Simsbury Town Offices Main Meeting Room, unless otherwise noted on the Agenda.
