 MEETING MINUTES

November 9, 2022

ROLL CALL

The following members were present: Lydia Tedone, and staff liaison Kristen Formanek

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 5:32pm.

PUBLIC AUDIENCE/PUBLIC COMMENTS

There were eight members of the public present who are interested in joining the committee.  Member and liaison provided history on the group, discussed the mission and goals, and the vision of programs moving forward.  Time was given to answer questions.

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Liaison provided an update on Social Services; new staffing, funding, and program ideas were discussed.
  2. Overview was provided to potential new members on the process for appointment.The potential for interested members not appointed to be volunteers was also discussed.
  3. The proposed calendar for 2023 was reviewed and there were no conflicts with dates presented.
  4. Program ideas were discussed in further detail.

OLD BUSINESS

  1. Liaison provided an update on QPR and Mental Health First Aid training for staff.We also discussed the possibility of hosting training for the public.

Due to lack of quorum, no action was taken at the meeting.
