End of Summer Blast at Simsbury Farms

The Simsbury Culture, Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting an End of Summer Blast at Simsbury Farms on Saturday, August 26, 2023.  The event, beginning at 5:00pm will include inflatable amusements for children, a face painter, a Balloon Twister, and a concert by rock cover band The Heavy Hitters from 6:30pm-8:30pm.  A spectacular fireworks above the Simsbury Farms Golf Course at approximately 8:40pm will conclude the event.  The fireworks show is expected to last approximately 15 minutes. Please be advised that for safety reasons, any shells that do not go off during the fireworks show as planned must be released; this would occur within approximately 30 minutes after the show.

This event is free to Simsbury residents and there will be food available for purchase from the Hilltop Grille and also the Hilltop Grille Food Truck as well Craftbirdm Andy’s Italian Kithcen, Dippin’ Dots, and Doc Popcorn Food Trucks.  Onsite parking at Simsbury Farms is limited, parking lots at the Apple Barn, Orkil Fields and Covenant Presbyterian Church will also be utilized for parking.  Participants are asked to bring their own chairs or blanket to sit and enjoy the event.  Stay up to date on event related news and parking availability updates by following @SimsburyParksandRec on Facebook or look for event updates posted at www.SimsburyRec.com
