Gas Main Installation in Area of Old Meadow Plain Road Starting Friday, July 12 - Expect Delays

Connecticut Natural Gas (CNG) will initiate the installation of gas mains on Old Meadow Plain Road and surrounding roadways on Friday, July 12, 2019.  The project will require alternating one-way traffic on Old Meadow Plain Road from Monday through Friday to complete the project.  The alternating one-way traffic pattern will be required for 3-4 weeks to complete the work on Old Meadow Plain Road.

Other streets included in the project include: Laurel Drive, Vining Drive, Oak Glen Court, Woodcliff Drive, Glen Court, Hickory Hill Road and Hemlock Lane. Two-way traffic will be maintained on these streets while the gas main and services are being completed.  The project is anticipated to be completed by September 30, 2019. 

Expect some traffic delays in the area and seek alternate routes if possible.
