Reminder for Taxes Due - January 1, 2024
This is a reminder regarding taxes due.
Motor Vehicle Supplemental Tax bills are being mailed out tomorrow December 20, 2023 and are due January 1, 2024.The last day to pay without penalty is February 1, 2024.
These bills cover the assessments of a vehicle newly registered after October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023. Also, due January 1, 2024 is the 2nd installment of Real Estate and Personal Property taxes. Those bills were mailed out last June and copies are also online. The last day to pay is February 1, 2024.
To pay online or get a copy of a bill go to www.simsbury-ct.gov/tax it’s free with an electronic check.
Payments can also be dropped off at town hall in the secured drop box located outside the town hall at the bottom of the steps to avoid lines.
Town Hall is closed Monday December 25, 2023 and Tuesday December 26, 2023 due to the holiday.
