Simsbury Celebrates – November 25, 2023

The Simsbury Celebrates Planning Committee and the Simsbury Culture, Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting Simsbury Celebrates! Presented by UCONN Health, a community holiday celebration on Saturday, November 25, 2023

The event begins at 5:00pm and will be held along Hopmeadow Street from Plank Hill to Drake Hill Roads. This section of Hopmeadow Street will be closed to vehicular traffic until 8:00pm.  Residents of Library Lane and the Heritage Glen Condominium Complex will be able to access their neighborhood through Wilcox Street during the event hours.

The event includes indoor and outdoor family entertainment, inflatable amusements for children, pictures with Santa, a magical holiday lit firetruck parade, and a spectacular fireworks show from the Simsbury Meadows fields at approximately 8:15pm to conclude the event.  The fireworks show is expected to last approximately 15 minutes. Please be advised that for safety reasons, any shells that do not go off during the fireworks show as planned must be released; this would occur within approximately 30-40 minutes after the conclusion of the show.

This event is free to all and there will be food available for purchase from many local organizations and restaurants.  Event attendees are encouraged to park in the Iron Horse Boulevard commuter parking lots, the Simsbury Town Hall parking area and at Simsbury Meadows.  Stay up to date on event related news by following @SimsburyCelebrates on Facebook or look for more event schedules and info posted on www.SimsburyCelebrates.com
