Simsbury Police Department Reaccrediditation Public Comment Portal
The Simsbury Police Department is currently seeking its 2nd year re-accreditation
from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
CALEA has scheduled the 2nd year review for August 18-26, 2023. During this time,
a Compliance Service Manager (CSM) from CALEA will remotely review 115 files
(25%) for compliance, including policy and procedure as well as proofs of
compliance.
The Simsbury Police Department values the opinions of our community and
welcomes comment and feedback regarding the department’s quality of service as
well as any other information relevant to the accreditation process. CALEA
maintains an access portal which allows for public comment and feedback. This
