PLANNING COMMISSION

February 23, 2017

MINUTES FROM SPECIAL MEETING

I.             CALL TO ORDER

Chairman William Rice opened the Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Education Meeting Room at the Town Offices.  Also present were Jamie Rabbitt, Director of Planning and Community Development; and Glenn Chalder

Planimetrics, Inc.

II.            ROLL CALL

Commission members in attendance were:  Elizabeth Burt, Robert Kulakowski, Alan Needham, William Rice, and Erin Leavitt-Smith.  

III.           GENERAL BUSINESS

1.            Plan of Conservation and Development Workshop.

Glenn Chalder reviewed the status of the Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) to date and the time lines associated with the completion of the plan (draft through adoption).  The Commission went on to discuss booklets # 1, 3 and 4 with staff and the consultant.

The members present determined the need for an additional meeting to complete the review of the booklets. After a brief discussion, March 8, 2017 (6:00 PM) was selected as the next date available for a special meeting (POCD).

IV.          ADJOURNMENT. 

Alan Needham made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:55 p.m. Board Member Robert Kulakowski seconded the motion, and it was passed unanimously.
