1. REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM MEETING ON APRIL 6th, 2015:
The minutes from the April meeting were reviewed by all. Commissioner Scully made a motion to approve the minutes as amended. Commissioner Van Kleef seconded the motion. All voted in favor and the motion passed.

• Amendment to page 1, line 52. Correct spelling from 'pone' to 'phone'.

2. PUBLIC AUDIENCE:
Commissioner Beinstein opened the floor for public audience. Mr. David Levien was present and he indicated that he had not received any follow up from the individuals/companies that had requested Green Business Challenge information. With no further discussions brought forward, Commissioner Beinstein closed the public audience.

3. BRIGHT IDEA PROPOSAL DISCUSSION:
Commissioner Scully indicated that he had requested a municipal discount for the solar phone charger but had not received a reply as yet. He will also be contacting C-TEC Solar for a possible sponsorship for it. As the general basis of the grant proposal has been decided with the solar phone charger, support for an intern to help with the Town's energy initiative projects, support for residential home energy audits and some funding for continuing events, Commissioner Ray will put together a draft proposal grant form for review/discussion at the next meeting.

4. GREEN BUSINESS CHALLENGE PROGRAM PLANS DISCUSSION:
With no further activity for this program, it will need to be further discussed for the next steps. A motion was made to table further discussion at this meeting by Commissioner Van Kleef and seconded by Commissioner Scully. All voted in favor of the motion.

5. CETF WEBSITE PLAN DISCUSSION: Commissioner Van Kleef met with Mr. Rick Bazzano who handles the Town’s website and provided the information for the initial website. That site is now active at: http://www.simsbury-ct.gov/clean-energy-task-force. A general discussion about information to be put on the site was held with a general consensus that a summary of some of the CETF activities be added. The last educational support initiative was funding the purchase of the batteries for the Simsbury High School electric cars. Since they were to race this Spring, Commissioner Ray will contact them to get details of the results for possible addition to the site.

6. SCHOOL SOLAR PROPOSAL DISCUSSION:
Commissioner Scully indicated that has not been able to pursue this any further at this time. He will continue to investigate so requested that the topic remain on the agenda for future meetings.

7. OPEN FORUM:
No additional topics were discussed.

8. NEXT MEETING
The next regularly scheduled meeting is June 1st.

9. ADJOURNMENT
