100PercentCT Project

On February 15, 2017, Clean Energy Task Force member, Mark Scully, and Director of Public Works, Tom Roy, presented the 100PercentCT Project to the Simsbury Board of Selectmen. The Board of Selectmen approved a resolution in support of the project, which is being carried out together with West Hartford under the auspices of People's Action for Clean Energy (PACE).

The PACE 100PercentCT Project presents an alternative to fossil fuel and nuclear energy by facilitating the transition to a clean energy economy. The project develops local, viable plans that move individual towns – and the State of Connecticut – to 100% renewable energy. This project provides clean, carbon free energy and makes our towns both sustainable and resilient.

You can find more information on the 100PercentCT Project on  PACE's website.
