Snow Removal Operations and Information
Simsbury's Department of Public Works is charged with the responsibility of responding to winter snow and icing events with the goals of providing cost effective snow removal and ice control that will keep the town’s 164 miles of roadway passable during storm events, minimizing the hazards caused by slippery road conditions, and helping to restore safe traveling conditions throughout the town as soon as possible after each winter storm. Snow removal on town roadways is an extremely difficult task and we appreciate your patience during snow and icing events.
