JUVENILE REVIEW BOARD
MINUTES
December 14, 2020
A meeting of the Juvenile Review Board was convened on Monday, December 14, 2020, at 9:30A.M. via Zoom and live stream. Meeting was called to order at 9:35 by the Chair.
Present: Kristen Formanek, Chairwoman
Brian Liss, YMCA
John Thibeault, Supervisor, Culture, Parks & Recreation
Kevin Dakin, SHS Vice Principal
Pastor Chris Dion
Michael Paine, BOS Liaison
Detective Lauren Devin, Simsbury PD
Marilyn Rotondo, Therapist
Meredith Brockbank, SHS Social Worker
Updates from the Chair: brief discussion on how meetings will be run via zoom.
Action Items:
- Minutes from November 9, 2020 were approved as presented. Motion was made by John Thibeault, motion seconded by Meredith Brockbank. All voting in favor, motion carries.
New Business: None
Old Business: None
Move to Executive Sessio to hear case #286.
Moved from Executive Session to deliver results. Youth will be required to write a three page essay and will be required to complete thirty hours of community service.
At 10:22 A.M. a motion was made by John Thibeault to adjourn the meeting. Motion was seconded by Meridith Brockbank. All present and voting in favor. Motion carries.
