JUVENILE REVIEW BOARD
MINUTES
June 12, 2023

A meeting of the Juvenile Review Board was convened on Monday, June 12^th at 9:30 A.M. Meeting was called to order at 9:31 A.M. by Kristen Formanek, Chair.

PRESENT:

Kristen Formanek, Director of Community and Social Services 
Detective Tim May, Simsbury PD
Brian Liss, YMCA  
Pastor Chris Dion, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church
Kevin Dakin,  SHS Vice Principal
Meredith Brockbank, SHS Social Worker
Chris Peterson, Board of Selectmen
John Thibeualt, Culture Parks & Recreation
Veena Raghuvir, Private Therapist

There were no public audience or comments.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Minutes from March 13, 2023 were reviewed.

OLD BUSINESS:

1. None

ACTION ITEMS:

Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank to approve the minutes as presented. Motion was seconded by Chris Dion. All present and voting in favor. Motion passes.

Motion was made by Kevin Dakin to move into Executive Session to hear Case #297 at 9:50 a.m. Motion was seconded by John Thibeault. All present and voting in favor. Motion passes.

Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank to move out of Executive Session at 10:40 a.m. Motion was seconded by Brian Liss. All present and voting in favor. Motion passes.

Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank to adjourn the meeting at 11 a.m. Motion was seconded by Veena Raghuvir. All present and voting in favor. Motion passes.
