JUVENILE REVIEW BOARD
MINUTES
August 14, 2023

A meeting of the Juvenile Review Board was convened on Monday, August 14^th at 9:30 A.M. Meeting was called to order at 9:31 A.M. by Kristen Formanek, Chair.

Present:
Kristen Formanek, Director of Community and Social Services 
Detective Sam Robbins, Simsbury PD
Erika Cleveland, Youth and Family Social Worker
Brian Liss, YMCA    
Meredith Brockbank, SHS Social Worker
Tom Tyburski, Culture Parks & Recreation

There were no public audience or comments.

New Business:

1.  Minutes from June 12, 2023 were reviewed.

Old Business:

1.  None

Action Items

1. Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank to approve the minutes as presented. Motion was seconded by Brian Liss.  All present; Kristen, Brian, and Meredith voted in favor, Sam, Erika, and Tom abstained.  Motion passes.

Motion was made by Brian Liss to move into Executive Session to hear Case #298 at 9:40 a.m.  Motion was seconded by Meredith Brockbank. All present and voting in favor. Motion passes.

Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank to move out of Executive Session at 10:10 A.M.  Motion was seconded by Brian Liss.  All present and voting in favor.  Motion passes.

Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank to adjourn the meeting at 10:25 A.M.  Motion was seconded by Tom Tyburski.  All present and voting in favor.  Motion carries.
