JUVENILE REVIEW BOARD
MINUTES
September 11, 2023

A meeting of the Juvenile Review Board was convened on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 9:30 A.M. via Zoom to Facebook Live.
Meeting was called to order at 9:45 A.M. by Kristen Formanek, Chair.

Present:

Kristen Formanek, Director of Community and Social Services 
Erika Cleveland, Youth and Family Social Worker
Chris Dion, Pastor
Meredith Brockbank, Simsbury High School Social Worker
Kevin Dakin, Simsbury High School Vice Principal
John Thibeault, Simsbury Culture Parks and Recreation
Veena Raghuvir, Community Therapist
Brian Liss, YMCA    
Detective Kevin Marano, Simsbury PD

There were no public audience or comments.

Action Items:

Approval of proposed minutes from June 12, 2023, meeting. Motion to approve made by Meredith Brockbank, moved seconded by Brian Liss, all in favor, motion carries.

Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank to move into Executive Session to hear case #298. MOtion seconded by Veena Raghuvir. All present and voting in favor. Motion passes.

Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank to move out of Executive Session.  Motion was seconded by Veena Raghuvir.  All present and voting in favor.  Motion passes.

Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank to adjourn the meeting at 10:25 A.M.  Motion was seconded by Veena Raghuvir.  All present and voting in favor.  Motion carries.
