JUVENILE REVIEW BOARD
MINUTES
December 12, 2022

A meeting of the Juvenile Review Board was convened on Monday, December 12, at 9:30 A.M. Meeting was called to order at 9:40 A.M. by Kristen Formanek, Chair.

Present:        Kristen Formanek, Director of Community and Social Services

                    Erika Cleveland, Youth and Family Social Worker

                    Detective Tim May, Simsbury PD

                    Brian Liss, YMCA   

                    Meredith Brockbank, SHS Social Worker

There were no public audience or comments

Updates from the Chair

  1. There is a vacancy on the board.The board will identify potential candidates to bring to the Board of Selectmen for appointment.

New Business

  1. Minutes from November 14, 2022 were reviewed.

Old Business

  1. None

Action Items

  1. Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank to approve the minutes as presented. Motion was seconded by Brian Liss.All present and voting in favor.Motion passes.

Moved to Executive Session to hear case #294 & 295 at 9:43 A.M.  

Moved out of Executive Session at 10:45.  Results will be delivered to the juvenile and their parents following the meeting.

At 10:55 motion was made by Tim May to adjourn the meeting.  Motion was seconded by Brian Liss.  All present and voting in favor.  Motion carries.
