 Meeting Minutes

November 5th, 2018

Call to Order at 5:45pm.

Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Cheryl Cook, Selectwoman and Chair of the Community for Care Committee called the meeting to order at 5:45pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2018.  The meeting was held in Rm. 114 of Henry James Memorial Middle School.  Also in attendance were  Sue Homrok-Lempke, Assistant Superintendent; Karen Gallager; Amy Muska, Simsbury High School Health and Wellness Coordinator; Sarah Gwinn,  Sara Ray, Teen Librarian, Simsbury Public Library; Richard Holden; Kristen Formanek, Director of Community and Social Services; Tom Steen; Lt. Fred Sifodaskalakis, Becky Rosenthal; and new member Pastor Gene Ott of Simsbury United Methodist Church.

Public Audience: There was no public audience

New Business:

Introductions were made for the new member.

The committee discussed options for upcoming programs.

The committee discussed data from youth surveys and Amy Muska agreed to provide additional information to the committee.

Adjournment: Ms. Cook made a motion to Adjourn at 6:29pm.  Ms. Rosenthal seconded the motion. All were in favor.

The Committee adjourned to the Anxious Parents, Anxious Kids Program.
