ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

Regular Meeting Minutes

February 25, 2015

“Subject to Approval”

I.   CALL TO ORDER

Chairman Gregory Piecuch called the regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals to order at 7:05 P.M. in the Main Meeting Room located at 933 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT.  The following members were also present:  Carol Bingham, Paul Cocchi and Dennis Fallon.  Also present were Rachel Blatt, Assistant Town Planner and Leslie Brigham, Commission Clerk. 

II.   APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATES

      Chairman Piecuch appointed Dennis Fallon for Thomas Horan and Paul Cocchi for Tegan Blackburn.

III.   DISCUSSION AND POSSSIBLE ACTION

Update Rules and Procedures

Ms. Blatt and Board members discussed the Simsbury Board of Appeals Bylaws.  No action was taken.

IV.   OTHER MATTERS AS MAY PROPERTY COME BEFORE THIS COMMISSSION

Ms. Bingham notified Board members that she will be resigning from the Zoning Board of Appeals in three weeks if she moves out of Simsbury.

Chairman Piecuch thanked Ms. Bingham for her years of service on the Zoning Board of Appeals.

V.    APPROVAL OF MINUTES January 28, 2015

Mr. Fallon made a motion to approve the minutes of the January 28, 2015 regular meeting as presented.  The motion was seconded by Mr. Cocchi and carried unanimously.

VI.    ADJOURNMENT

Ms. Bingham made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:53 p.m.  Mr. Cocchi seconded the motion.   All were in favor and the motion passed.
