PLANNING COMMISSION – SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 6:00 P.M.
Board of Education Conference Room – Simsbury Town Hall

I. CALL TO ORDER – Chair Leavitt-Smith called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

ROLL CALL

Present: George McGregor, Town Planner; Brittany MacGilpin, Assistant Town Planner; Glenn Chalder, Planning Consultant; Chair, Erin Leavitt-Smith; Holly Beum, Joseph Campolieta, Donald Colantonio, Julie Eaton, and Marcus Furze

Absent: Secretary, William Rice; Diane Duran, and Craig MacCormac.

Chair Leavitt-Smith welcomed and introduced the new Assistant Town Planner, Brittany MacGilpin.

II. PLAN OF CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT

POCD Draft Review Work Session

The Commissioners went through the POCD making edits to ensure the statements were in alignment with community values and presented clear ideas for future development.

III. GENERAL COMMISSION BUSINESS

None.

IV. CORRESPONDENCE

None.

V. ADJOURNMENT

MOTION: Chair Leavitt-Smith adjourned the meeting with no objection at 7:54 P.M.
