Special Meeting
August 6, 2015
1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of the Police Commission was called to order at 10:05 A.M. in the Police Department Training Room of the Simsbury Town Offices. Present were Chairman Michael Long, Commissioner Brendan Walsh, Commissioner James Fleming, Chief Peter Ingvertsen and Captain Nicholas Boulter. Commissioner Edward Cosgrove participated via the phone. Commissioner Carl Eisenmann was not in attendance.

3. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION
The Chief made a recommendation to the Commission that PFC Matthew Christian be promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He then provided the Commission with a profile of PFC Christian’s background and accomplishments.
Commissioner Fleming made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Walsh and passed unanimously to accept the Chief’s recommendation and approve the promotion of PFC Christian to the rank of Sergeant. The Commission congratulated PFC Christian.
4. AJOURNMENT
Chairman Long made motion to adjourn at 10:15 A.M. Commissioner Fleming seconded the motion. All were in favor and the motion passed.
