David Drive Traffic Calming Survey

The Simsbury Department of Public Works, in conjunction with traffic experts from the Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) and the Simsbury Police Department, conducted a 4-month traffic calming project on David Drive. Traffic calming is the combination of different measures aimed at reducing the speed of motor vehicle usage while promoting a safer community. Several techniques were applied during this 4-month time period to observe the impacts they might have had on the speeds of those traveling through this neighborhood.

Now that we have completed our study, we invite you to share your thoughts by completing our survey. We are especially interested in hearing from people who live in the area and are impacted most by it. Your feedback will be very helpful when reviewing the project and for future implementations of possible long term solutions. The survey can be found here: https://s.surveyplanet.com/fi5qvgaj
