Stratton Brook State Park – Farmington River Trail Closure

We have recently been informed that a portion of the Farmington River Trail in Stratton Brook State Park near Stratton Brook Road will be closed to the public starting on or about March 16, 2022. This closure is anticipated to continue for approximately 1-2 weeks. This closure is required to allow for the contractor working on the Aquarion Water Company Simsbury Centralized Water Treatment Project to complete work associated with gas service installation for the treatment plant.
