Food Pantry receives $10,000 from HFCU

Hartford Federal Credit Union donated $10,000 to Simsbury Community and Social Services’ Food Pantry, during a ceremony March 15, 2023, in Hartford.  In the photo from left to right are Rachael Loveland, Simsbury’s Community Social Worker; Ed Danek, President & CEO of Hartford Federal Credit Union; and Susan Bysiewicz, Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut.  Funds will be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables for Simsbury residents in need, as well as nonperishable food and operating costs of the Pantry.
