AUGUST 29, 2016

MINUTES FROM SPECIAL MEETING

 

I.             CALL TO ORDER

Chairman D. Ryan called the special meeting of the Zoning Commission to order at 7:05pm in  the Main Meeting Room at the Town Offices. The following members and alternates were in attendance were: Bruce Elliott, Donna Beinstein, Jackie Battos, Michael Doyle, Kevin Gray and Derek Peterson. Also present was Jamie Rabbitt AICP, Director of Planning, Michael Glidden CFM CZEO, Assistant Town Planner and Glen Chalder AICP of Planimetrics.

II.                Roll Call

1.            Appointments of Alternates

Chairman Ryan appointed M. Doyle to sit for G. Post

III.             Workshop

1.            Regulation Review – Planimetrics

Glen Chalder AICP of Planimetrics presented to the Commission Modular 2 of the Simsbury Zoning Regulations re-organization. Mr. Chalder presented to the Commission the proposed re-organization of regulations concerning residential zoning districts.

A future special meeting will be scheduled to present re-organization of the commercial and industrial zoning districts’ regulations.

IV.          Adjournment

Commissioner Grey made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:05 p.m.

Commissioner Peterson seconded the motion, and it was passed unanimously.
