Alarm Registration

All alarm systems within the Town of Simsbury must be registered per Town Ordinance, available for viewing at https://www.ecode360.com/8848480.

It is important we have current alarm keyholder information. Please mail in your alarm registration with one-time $10.00 registration payment (check or money order only) to this address: Simsbury Police Dept - Records/Alarms, 933 Hopmeadow ST, Simsbury CT, 06070-1822. You will receive a copy of your processed registration form and permit number in the mail.Checks should be payable to "Town of Simsbury."  We appreciate your patience during this time as we are handling a large volume of requests.

The registration form may be mailed to you or printed from the website (link below). The form may be used for both initial registration and updates to existing permits. If you are moving within town and have an existing alarm permit, you may be able to transfer the existing permit to your new address without charge. Please call us at 860-658-3125 for more information.

Updates to alarms may be scanned and emailed to records@pd.simsbury-ct.gov. There is no charge to update a current alarm if home or business ownership has not changed. Please do not email NEW registrations. Thank you.
